Nils Smijth was born and raised in London, England. Nils showed interest in sound and recording at a particularly young age, and immediately identified with electronic and industrial groups in his youth. Nils moved to Iceland with two close friends in 1987, meeting Rufus DeWijdt in a Reykjavik bar a few short months later.

Nils handles most of the production and engineering of the Bombring material, and has taken great care to create TEH BOMBRING SOUND. Yes, that's right... "TEH BOMBRING SOUND." A fusion of electronic, rock, experimental, and even more traditional compositional elements, TEH BOMBRING SOUND is ever evolving to take more minds by storm.
